Derin Demirsoy will compete at the Global Champions League this year and will be able to count on a new talent for this performance. The Turkish showjumping rider will in the future compete Giulia Martinengo Marquet's Elzas (Diamant de Semilly).
The 13-year-old gelding before competed with the Italian female rider and placed fifth in the CSIO5* Rolex Grand Prix of Rome in 2019 and placed second that year in the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix of Lausanne. As a combination they also represented Italy at the FEI European Championships in Rotterdam.
On her social media Martinengo announced the sales. "Thank you Elzas. No words can express how grateful and lucky I feel to have met you on my way. You were the best partner I could ask for. The biggest hearted horse. Such a fighter but the sweetest boy."
