[UPDATE] No fractures found on Peder Fredricson after fall in Stockholm, mare also fine

Peder Fredricson had an accident while jumping at LGCT Stockholm. He was taken away by ambulance, but was conscious and able to speak after the accident.

In the young horse class, Swede Peder Fredricson fell badly during his warm-up with Que Sera JW van de Moerhoeve (by Cera d'Ick). The pair ended up together straight into an obstacle. The number 20 in the world tumbled off his horse and immediately it appeared to be serious enough to fence the place for a while.

The young horse competition was stopped immediately after the accident and did not resume after that. All riders had unanimously decided to withdraw. The subsequent Grand Prix, however, will continue as usual.

UPDATE

Peder Fredricson is fine, no fractures were found in the hospital. The seven-year-old mare was checked by a veterinarian and is also in good health.
