After the outbreak of rhinopneumonia in Valencia, infections have now also been reported in Switzerland. Until now, infections in Belgium, Germany, France, Sweden and Doha were reported which could be linked to Valencia. The link between the case in Switzerland and Doha could not yet be confirmed.
Switzerland therefore calls for horses to be quarantined.
