Richard Vogel unbeatable in Stuttgart's World Cup

The World Cup competition in Stuttgart delivered top sport. After an exciting Jump-Off it was home hero, Richard Vogel claiming the win in front of the home crowd!

A total of fourteen combinations managed to qualify for the Jump-Off in this 1.60m class. In this Jump-Off France's Kevin Staut was the first to set the tone with his 13-year-old  Visconti du Telman. Five combinations later, Germany's Richard Vogel improved Staut's time with over two seconds. In front of the home crowd, Vogel and his 10-year-old United Touch S took over the lead.

The pair didn't give away the win. Ireland's Denis Lynch came in close with over a second difference. Aboard the 13-year-old BWP-gelding, Brooklyn Heights (Nabab de Reve), Lynch shared the runner-up position with Stever Guerdat and his Dynamix de Belheme (Snaike de Blondel).

The two pairs were followed by world number one rider, Henrik von Eckermann. Von Eckermann placed fourth aboard his Iliana (Cardento). Dutch show jumper, Harrie Smolders completed the top five with the 11-year-old Bingo du Parc (Mylord Carthago*HN).
