You have known each other for his entire horse life: DSP Con Spirit and his rider Daniel Dassler have celebrated many successes together, contested major prizes, and earned ribbons from Lanaken to Munich and St. Tropez. On Sunday afternoon, the impressive gray horse, at the age of 17, will be ceremoniously retired from competition at the Stuttgart German Masters.
The German show jumper and the gray horse have been a duo for his entire life. Starting from Sunday, the gray horse can enjoy his retirement on the pastures in Bavaria. Together with the German rider, the gray horse achieved victory in competitions such as Lanaken, Munich, and St. Tropez!
From next year onwards, the stallion will focus on his role as a breeding stallion. "Con Spirit has already proven that he produces strong offspring. Pepita von Spita demonstrated this during this year's World Cup final. As a stallion, he will continue to contribute his qualities to the sport."
