The 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix in Fontainebleau delivered topsport. In the end it was Switzerland's, Steve Guerdat who jumped to victory aboard his Dynamix de Belheme...
It turned out to be a difficult task to complete the 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix of Fontainebleau faultlessly. After already winning the 1.50m CSI5* class earlier, Steve Guerdat continued his form and kept the competition behind him in the Grand Prix.
After a jump-off with three riders, the Swiss show jumper won with his 11-year-old SF mare, Dynamix de Belheme (breeder: Frederic Aimez). In front of his home crowd, Aurelien Leroy followed with his Croqsel de Blaignac (Ugano Sitte). The entire top three remained clear. Jennifer Hochstadter finished third with the 13-year-old KWPN mare, Golden Lady (Cassini Gold).
Also clear in the first round but with one second outside the allowed time, former Belgian champion Koen Vereecke followed in fourth place. Vereecke placed with the 13-year-old BWP stallion, Lector vd Bisschop. With one rail down, Julien Epaillard completed the top five aboard his trusted Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac).
