Having already won the Masters Two Joséphine B on the opening day of the Longines Masters of Paris, France's Marie Pellegrin confirmed how talented her Selle français mare Baccarat du Tertre is when she clinched the 1.45m Masters Two Joone. The pair took no prisoners to end up a second and a half faster than two speed specialists: Britain's Matthew Sampson on Geneve R and France's Thierry Rozier with Star.
"When I checked the clock, I couldn't believe my eyes. I even wondered if I hadn't forgotten a fence" exclaimed Marie Pellegrin. "Baccarat is exceptional. She is quick, with a lot of quality and careful. She gives it her all each time". The win a "ranking" class means Marie will score points towards the Longines World Ranking List - and she will take home the winners Ducati Scrambler motorbike. "To be honest, this is the first time this sort of thing happens to me"! she admitted, all smiles.
