TRANSFER: 'Tired derbyhorse' gets a new rider

Picture: stock, not Carollo

Carollo, the horse that was all over the news last year because of a questionable choice of his rider, will be ridden by Hardin Towell in the future. The Chacco-Blue son was ridden in the Derby of Calgary last year by his rider Andrew Kocher, it however was very clear that the horse was not 'fit to compete' since he already jumped the super heavy Queen Elizabeth II Cup the day before. However Kocher did decide to ride him despite the fact the horse looked very tired.

Good news for the gelding who is stabled with the American rider Towell right now. He is working on the horses' comeback that will be happening after the Corona crisis. The gelding didn't jump any competitions since September.
