The Nations Cup team for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup CSIO****, which will be held on Feb. 19 at HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, has been announced.
The American team, comprised of four riders plus one alternate will be McLain Ward, Beezie Madden, Lauren Hough, Ali Wolff and Todd Minikus under Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland.
This Nations Cup is the only qualifier in the U.S. for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final held in Barcelona, Spain on Sept. 22-25. Eight teams will compete in Ocala.
The members of the teams of the competing nations are as follows:
Australia, under Chef d’Équipe Stevie Macken: Thaisa Erwin, Tom McDermott, Scott Keach, Harley Brown, Matt Williams
Canada, under Chef d’Équipe Mark Laskin: Ian Millar, Jonathon Millar, Amy Millar, Chris Sorensen, Mac Cone
Colombia, under Chef d’Équipe Marcel Delestre: Roberto Teran, Daniel Bluman, Mark Bluman, Fernando Cardenas, Mauricio Guevara
El Salvador, led by Chef d’Équipe Cate Boon: Diego Muyshondt, Juan Manuel Bolanos, Paulo Santana
Ireland, led by Chef d’Équipe Robert Splaine: Kevin Babington, Cian O’Connor, Shane Sweetnam, Richie Moloney, David Blake
