With thousands they came to watch in Brussels. The spectacle of a full week of sport was the 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix. At the beautiful new grass arena a total of seven combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the CSI5* Grand Prix.

The Dutch rider followed at the start with Uricas v/d Kattevennen (Uriko). After a finish of 33.54 seconds they set the performance to beat. Brazil's Eduardo Pereira De Menezes and H5 Chaganus (Chacco-Blue) followed, immediately taking over the lead.
However in the end it was Sweden's World Champion, Peder Fredricson who set the best performance with his 16-year-old Catch Me Not S (Cardento). The pair stopped the clock in 32.61 seconds jumping to victory. Just a couple of weeks ago, Fredricson claimed the team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Herning.

Fredricson eventually won the 100.000 Audi voucher, combined with 65.000 euro cash. On stage he was followed by Eduardo Pereira De Menezes and Dutch Harrie Smolders.
Outside the top three Ireland's Denis Lynch guided his Brooklyn Heights (Nabab de Rêve) to the fourth spot while Nicolas Pizarro and Oak Grove's Enkidu (Ensor vdh Pleville) jumped into fifth.
