Marco Kutscher victorious in Shanghai's first big class
The first 1.50m class of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Antwerp knows his winner. The winner get's no less than 122,000 USD. No wonder Marco Kutscher was smiling after his winning round with Cornet's Cristallo (Cornet Obolensky). As last rider at the start in the jump-off, Kutscher set the fastest time in 36.28 seconds. Only 9 horse-rider combinations left clear in the jump-off. The sky turned grey and a heavy rain set on the arena, nevertheless it couldn't stop Kutscher from winning.

Swedish Henrik Von Eckermann and Gotha, an ex-colleague of Kutscher, rode to the second place. Still good enough for about 75,000 USD. Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Uppity (Guifam) finished third. In her comment, Nicole Zhang, Commentator and chief of the Shanghai team, proclaimed Doda de Miranda as winner. Unfortunately for the Brasilian rider he and AD Rahmannshof's Bogeno finished 18th, outside the ranking.

The top five of the class was completed by Nasser Al Ghazali with Argelith Squid and Pius Schwizer aboard Caretina de Joter.
