In a gripping display of equestrian skill and precision, the LONGINES GRAND PRIX International Jumping Competition with Jump-off, held at the CSI5*-W event of Equita Lyon, witnessed thirteen of the over forty combinations vying for the top spot. Only five of them managed to successfully complete the challenging course, and it was Julien Epaillard of France who emerged as the champion, riding his ten-year-old Selle Française to the fastest time of 36.14 seconds.

Marc McAuley (IRL) closely followed with a flawless ride on GRS Lady Amaro (Amaretto D Arco) in a time of 36.78 seconds, claiming the second position with just two tenths of a second behind the leader. The top three positions were sealed by Steve Guerdat, the Swiss rider, who guided Dynamix de Belheme (Snaike de Blondel) to the finish line in a time of 37.64 seconds.

On four was Ben Maher (SUI) with the nine years old Point Break (Action-Breaker). The top five was concluded by Jana Wargers (GER) aboard of Dorette (Dollar du Murier).
