Julien Anquetin and Z Ice Cube Z magnificent in daring Grand Prix of Frankfurt

The CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix of Frankfurt posed a real challenge for both rider and horse, as only a select group made it to the jump-off. Julien Anquetin triumphed by being the only one to maintain a faultless score on the board.

Only four combinations could secure a spot in the jump-off of this Grand Prix on German soil. Keeping a faultless round proved to be a significant challenge, achieved only by Julien Anquetin (FRA). The Frenchman not only had the only clear round but also the fastest time riding Z Ice Cube Z (Zacharov, breeder: P.J. Amendt). Koen Vereecke (BEL) followed closely with only ten hundredths more on the clock aboard Kasanova de La Pomme (Bamako de Muze, breeder: Haras de La Pomme) in second place. The top three was completed by the British rider Graham Gillespie (GBR) and Veneno (Chacco-Blue, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz). The last to go in the jump-off was Rik Hemeryck (BEL). The Belgian rider had the ten-year-old Navarro van het Eelshof (Jappeloup vh Dauwhof) under saddle and finished fourth. With just a time fault in the base round, Pia Reich (GER) secured the fifth position riding PB Löwenherz (Levisto, breeder: Nicholas Miller).
