Patrick Bölle victorious in CSI4* World Cup Grand Prix of Krakow

In Gothenburg, the World Cup Grand Prix is still in full swing but Polish soil also hosted a World Cup competition this weekend. This afternoon, the CSI4* riders stepped up to jump their World Cup Grand Prix. Eleven combinations managed to get through the basic round without any jumping faults. A jump-off with eleven therefore had to determine the winner. In that jump-off, German Patrick Bölle turned out to be the fastest. Riding Caramba de Janeiro (by Check In 2), he was able to keep the double clear and clocked off in 39.28 seconds.

Marek Waclawik and Kathamandau (by Zinedine) took home the silver medal. This Polish combination did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 41.16 seconds. Michael Kölz took home third place. He counted on Cellato (by Cellestial) to jump to the finish in 37.27 seconds, the fastest time but unfortunately the duo tapped a bar out of the scoops in the process.

Jeremy Sweetnam and Bogano (by Ogano Sitte) followed in fourth place. The best Dutch performance came from Amanda Slagter. She rode the 11-year-old Cornet Blue PS (by Chacco Blue) to fifth place.
