Victor Bettendorf and Mr. Tac take exceptional Grand Prix victory in Paris!

An exciting and incredible top level class was delivered at today's Saut Hermès CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix. In the end seven combinations managed to produce a double clear with the fastest time for Victor Bettendorf and his Mr. Tac (Nonstop).

Fourteen combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in this 1.60m Grand Prix at the Saut Hermès, delivering top level sport. Gerrit Nieberg and his Blues d'Aveline CH were the first to set a clear round, eventually placing seventh.

The unbeatable time was set by Luxembourgish rider, Victor Bettendorf and his 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Mr. Tac (Nonstop) (ex. Mr. Tac des Fusains). Halfway the Jump-Off, Harrie Smolders (NED) was the sixth rider to start aboard his 14-year-old Monaco N.O.P. (Cassini II), eventually placing second, referring Belgium's Wilm Vermeir to the third spot.

The Worldcup winner of Mechelen tacked up his own bred, IQ van het Steentje (Toulon). The top five was completed by Vermeir's compatriots Pieter Devos and Olivier Philippaerts. Pieter Devos followed in a fourth place with the SF-mare, Mom' s Toupie de la Roque (KAnnan). Olivier Philippaerts and his trusted, H&M Legend of Love (Landzauber) completed the top five!

"I'd like to thank the Mégret-family," Bettendorf reacted after his win. "Thanks to them I have the chance to ride Mr. Tac. I competed here at the Saut Hermès since the U25 ten years ago. Winning this Grand Prix is really a dream come true. To be completely honest, I thought Simon Delestre would be faster."
