Daniel Deusser wrote the main number of Den Bosch to his name yesterday. He did this on Casallvano. Afterwards he said: "Actually he is a bit shy".
"I was particularly surprised that there were so many clear rounds. It was definitely not an easy course. In the jump-off, my intention was to go for the win. I must say that everything I tried worked out really well, so of course I can only be satisfied with my performance this evening.
"Casallvano is a horse with a lot of power. He is a bit shy when he comes into the ring but sometimes that is an advantage because he wants to be very careful. He is a very fast horse but the last few weeks my turns didn't work out the way I wanted them to with him. Today that was the case and I am very proud of him.
"My plan is to start Tobago in the Grand Prix. He is in top form the last few weeks as his results in Wellington prove. I hope he will be on top form again on Sunday".
