Much has already been said about the new format of the Olympic Games, and it was not usually in a positive sense. Now the number one of the world, Daniel Deusser, has also been critical of the new format.
The Olympic Games are certainly something special for everyone involved. We came prepared but unfortunately it did not go as we had hoped. After jumping 3 super nice rounds, there was some miscommunication between Team Killer Queen and myself in the 2nd round. I still can't really explain what happened exactly but it was definitely unexpected and not Killer Queens normal way of doing things. Unfortunately, due to the new format, this resulted in an exclusion for the entire German team. This is what top sport is all about, you win some, you lose some. We will take the good things out of this experience and focus on the future because "The best is yet to come"!

Congratulations to team Sweden, USA and Belgium and to the individual medallists Ben Maher, Peder Fredericson and Mikael Van der Vleuten for their incredible performances. The favourites have absolutely proven to the world that they are the best.
