Desperados FRH is Hanoverian stallion of the year



It's the Hanoverian stallion Desperados FRH who is chosen as the stallion of the year in the Hanoverian stallionshow. The German Grand Prix rider kristina Bröring-Sprehe and her black stallion are succesful for years in the dressage and are still in the lead in the WBFSH ranking.

The De Niro son has proven himself in stud with over 32 sons who have been approved in the sport. He has won for almost 450.000 euro, were his sons also won 50.000 euros. Three year old Destacado won the Bundeschampionat this year for the three year olds.

In 2003 the stallion was not succesful in the stallioncommision and did not receive his approval during the stallionshow in Verden. He didn't impress and was turned down. Owner Albert Sprehe took a chance in the stallion and won the bidding with the final bid of 104.000 euros. A year later he received his approval after a thirty day test in Schlieckau were he got a 8.61 for his dressage. He was approved and given a premium.
