Dorothée Schneider is the new Dressage German Champion, and on the Olympic Longlist
A total of eight dressage riders have been named on the German Longlist for this year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August. Last week the German Dressage Championships were the last qualification to be on the German shortlist.

At the German dressage Championships it was Dorothee Schneider who claimed the gold medal. Aboard the 10-year-old Showtime, Schneider won Sunday's Grand Prix Freestyle with a total of 86.725%. In Friday's Grand Prix, Schneider finished third after collecting 79.940% with her Sandro Hit-horse. On Saturday the pair finished second. Enough to win the German Dressage Championships 2016.

Now the German Olympic Committée has announced the shortlist:
