Golden Ros Canter brings Team Great-Britain to Gold
It was a long and technical course today at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon. Many riders didn't succeed in a clear round. NEvertheless, there is still Great-Britain's Ros Canter who jumped clear and eventually took the individual gold medal with Allstar B (Ephebe for Ever).

Germany's defender, Ingrid Klimke was the last to go. Aboard SAP Hale Bob OLD (Helikon XX), Klimke eventually jumped one rail down, taking the bronze medal. The individual silver was claimed by an amazing Irish Padraig McCarthy in the saddle of the 13-year-old Mr Chucky (Jumbo).

Rosalind Canter brought her team to the Gold medal as Piggy French (Quarrycrest Echo) and Tom McEwen (Toledo de Kerser) only jumped one rail down. With a total of 88.8 points, they left the Irish squad good for Silver.

Both Sam Watson (Horseware Ardagh Highlight) and the Silver medal winner, Padraig McCarthy made a clear finish in the cross and showjumping. Eventually resulting in 93 points for the Irish squad. The bronze team medal coloured French. After a disappointing Cross the French restored . the damage in the show jumping course.
