With the continued support of Racesafe, the British Eventing Junior Programme aims to identify talented Junior riders, and their horses, that may have the potential for international recognition at the 2017 FEI Junior European Championships, this year hosted in Millstreet, Ireland (19-23 July). Along with this the programme provides help and encouragement to develop combinations for future competitions and the British National Junior Championships, held annually at Brand Hall (3-4 June).
2016 saw a hard fought competition for the Racesafe sponsored Junior European team in Montelibretti, Italy, producing some impressive performances on the final day of competition to retain their bronze medal which they also won in 2015. Shropshire’s Brand Hall Horse Trials welcome’s the British National Championships each year and the 2016 Junior CCIJ1* competition gave Chelsea Round the National title on board her own Fleetwood Mac V.
