Zara Tindall announces second pregnancy

Zara Tindall (Phillips) is pregnant with her second child. The British event rider and her husband Mike, a former England rugby player, will welcome their second child in the late spring and they are thrilled with the news.

Zara and Mike had their first daughter, Mia on 17 January 2014. She continued competing until the end of July. After Mia's birth, Zara almost immediately returned to the saddle and was a member of the British silver-medal winning eventing team at the World Equestrian Games that summer. She took the team silver in Londen as well with the same horse, but wasn't on the long list for the Olympics of Rio.

Zara is the second British equestrian Olympian to announce her pregnancy this week. Dressage rider Laura Tomlinson, who won team gold and individual bronze in Londen 2012, announced her pregnancy this week as well.
