Exciting Grand Prix winners deliver top sport on Sunday

At the final day of the week it was an exciting day for sport with different CSI2* and CSI3* Grand Prix classes. Discover today's Grand Prix winners ...  

CES Valencia Spring Tour - CSI3* GP - 1.50

French rider Aurelien Leroy and Vendome d'Ick (by Arco) complete the jump-off with a time of 38.53, staying in front of Irish rider Alex Duffy, who was aboard Fts Killossery Konfusion (by Siec Livello). Mark Armstrong and Juharah (by Echo van 't Spieveld) come in third with a time of 42.71. 

Robin Muhr and Badaboume Cocagne (by Tinka's Boy) come in fourth, Karl Robins, in the saddle of G Camille Hbf (by VDL Zirocco Blue) complete the top five.

Sunshine Tour - CSI3* GP - 1.50 (LR)

After being on top for a long time, Belgium's Bart Clarys eventually had to settle as fifth  aboard Geste van de Vihta (Zirocco Blue VDL). It was Great-Britain's Holly Smith who set the record time with her 11-year-old Hearts Destiny (Heart Throb). The pair was followed on stage by Pedro Veniss with Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior (Lord Pezi). Also clear, Italy's Alberto Zorzi completed the stage aboard Jan Tops' 11-year-old, Vauban du Trio (Nervoso).

Vilamoura - CSI3* GP - 1.50

A total of six riders qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.50m Grand Prix of Vilamoura. Eventually four pairs produced a clear Jump-Off round. Local show jumping rider, Martim Portela De Morais conquered the class aboard his Belgian Warmblood gelding, Inco van den Bisschop (Kashmir van Schuttershof). The pair jumped to victory in 38.74 seconds. With over 2 seconds difference, Piergiorgio Bucci followed as runner-up aboard Quadriglio Dels Terriccio (Lord Z). On stage, Adrian Whiteway completed the top three with Cooley Network (Boswell Mr Heart Breaker).

Braunschweig - CSI3* GP - 1.55

No less than 13 combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in Braunschweig's 1.55m Grand Prix. Only the top three riders managed to keep it clear. Ireland's Eoin Mcmahon jumped to victory aboard the 14-year-old Chacon 2 (Chacco-Blue). The pair stopped the clock in 40.64 seconds. With almost three seconds difference, Germany's Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking placed as runner-up with Querido (FRH Quaid).

Aboard the 14-year-old Arac du Seigneur Z (Ogano Sitte), Angelique Rüsen completed the stage in 43.85 seconds. The pair was followed by compatriots Finja Bormann (A Crazy son of Lavina) and Janine Rijkens (C-Vier).

Herning - CSI2* GP - 1.45

Patrick Stühlmeyer and For Laubry (by For Passion D'Ive) win the class in 36.81. The silver and bronze medals go to The Netherlands, with Leon Thijssen aboard Nuna du Perchet (by Numero Uno) finishing in 37.31. With that time, he stays in front of compatriot Jens van Grunsven and Greatlight VDL (by VDL Zirocco Blue) who finishes in 37.41.
