Also on the Sunshine Tour, an international weekend ended with the Grand Prix. Nine combinations could keep the zero in the basic course. A jump-off with nine had to decide the winner. The Belgians dominated the class: they took home no less than three of the five top five placings.
The victory went to Gudrun Patteet. She rode Sea Coast Kashmira Z (v. Kashmir van Schuttershof) ,to victory. The duo left all the beams in the reels and finished in 36.06 seconds. Jérôme Guery and Grupo Prom Diego (by Verdi TN) took home second place. They were able to jump a clear round and finished in 36.55 seconds. Douglas Lindelöw and Casquo Blue (by Chacco-Blue) took third place after a clear round in 38.70 seconds.
Wilm Vermeir (DM Jacqmotte) and Karim Elzoghby (Zandigo) took home fourth and fifth places.
