Guy Williams and Ernie of Greenhill Z (v. Emerald) were victorious in the CSI3* Grand Prix of VillaMoura which was also the main and closing class of the day. The Brit gets 25.000 EUR added to his bankaccount and scores points for the Longines Ranking.
Only 6 riders were able to battle their way to the jump-off. Guy Williams set the tone by finishing in 42,01. Adrian Speight was close to his patriot with 42,98 on the clock but couldn't do faster leaving him and Millfield Baloney (v. Balou du Rouet) in second place. Third place was for the Italian Piergiorgio Bucci on the back of Carpe Diem J&F Champblanc (v. Casall) who finished their jump-off in 43,47.
Luisa Himmelreich rode a careful round with Clenur (v. Carinue) which yielded them a clear round and a fourth place.
Olivier Fletcher's Hello William (v. Waldo van Dungen) had one fault leaving them with the fifth place. The same scenario applied to Karina Frederiks and Hantano (v. Quasimodo Z) but they had an extra timefault and made them finish sixth.
