Henrik von Eckermann stays on top of Longines Ranking while top ten shifts

Like last month, no earth-shattering changes are happening in the new Longines Ranking. The top seven still contains the same riders while the last three of the top ten have been replaced. Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) remains ruthlessly in the lead.

The top seven retains its riders but there is some shuffling among them. Martin Fuchs (SUI) has to give up a place and sees Julien Epaillard (FRA) take over his second place. Fuchs thus defends his title at the World Cup Finals in Omaha this week with a current third place in the world rankings.

Harrie Smolders (NED) also drops one place and comes in at six and exchanges with Conor Swail (IRL) who climbs to five. Big progress for Shane Sweetnam (IRL) as the Irishman jumps from place fourteen into the top ten at eight without a pardon! Simon Delestre (FRA) also once again finds his place in the top ten, moving from twelve to nine. Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) closes out the top ten and comes from eleven.

Daniel Deusser (GER) leaves the top ten and comes in at eleven while Kevin Staut (FRA) drops from ten to fourteen. Ben Maher (GBR) also has to relinquish his place in the top ten and is now at seventeen instead of nine....
