This weekend in Ommen (NED) there will be jumping at international level and Jeroen Dubbeldam will bring a new trump card to the start. It concerns Chacco Blue II (by Chacco Blue), who was bred by Paul Schockemöhle.
The 14-year-old stallion already took part in the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017 with his previous rider, Szabolcs Krucso. More recently, he competed with Santiago Lambre in the CSIO5* Nations Cup of St Gallen where they jumped to 14th place. During that same competition they also jumped in the spotlight during the 1m60-high Grand Prix.
Now Dubbeldam will take over the reins. Dubbeldam had to say goodbye to his top horse Oak Grove's Carlyle just before the Olympics, but now he seems to have a new trump card for the highest level.
