Only three combinations qualified for the jump-off of the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix in Vejer de la Frontera. Eventually, Jessica Burke with the 14-year-old Express Trend (Future Trend) jumped to victory.
Burke and the 14-year-old gelding stayed more than one second ahead of Simon Crippen with the 12-year-old Handsome (Toulon). Eduardo Alvarez Aznar completed the top three for his own audience. Alongside the 12-year-old BWP mare, Made In't Ruytershof (Norton d'Eole), the Spaniard recorded the fastest time.
With one jumping fault, the duo finished third, thus relegating Emanuele Camilli with BWP gelding, Odense Odeveld (Diamant de Semilly), to fourth place. Ales Opatrny completed the top five in the saddle of KWPN stallion, Kapsones W. (Cornet Obolensky).
