Joe Whitaker and Hulahupe JR outstanding in Olympics qualifier of Al Shira'aa

The stakes were high because this World Cup Grand Prix closing class in Abu Dhabi counted as qualification for the 2024 Olympics in Paris! Joe Whitaker led Hulahupe JR (by VDL Bubalu) to victory.

The win was for Joe Whitaker. The Englishman rode a smooth round on Hulahupe JR (by VDL Bubalu) and left no room for his competition to do better. Over a second and a half later, Billy Twomey followed in second place with Chat Botte ED (by Casall), a 15-year-old Zangersheide stallion. Duarte Seabra needed again a second more but also stayed clear with Dourados (by Diarado) and came in third.

Fourth place was filled in by Nikey HH (by Herald van 't Ruytershof) with Jessica Burke in the saddle while fifth place was for Medoc de Toxandria (by Der Senate 111) and Tim Gredley.
