Julien Epaillard wins the 4* 1m45 LR class of Opglabbeek

In Sentower Park in Opglabbeek the 4* Grand Prix is in full swing. But before that was the case, the 4* riders got a 1m45 class with separate jump-off in which they could also collect ranking points. We had a busy jump-off with no less than fifteen participants so there was a lot of fighting for the victory. Ultimately, Julien Epaillard was the fastest and took home the victory for France.

For this class Julien Epaillard was able to count on the Diamant de Semilly son Carbone du Cyan. In the jump-off they left nothing to chance and finished in 35.61 seconds. That time appeared to be unbeatable and so they wrote this 1m45 class for France. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli did make another meritorious attempt. With the SBS mare Heureuse Nouvelle WH (by Cardento) he took second place in 36.10 seconds.

Andres Vereecke provided the best Belgian performance. Together with the BWP mare In The Mood (by Winningmood) he was only slightly slower than the number two, but fast enough for a great third place. On Wednesday there was also a sixth place for this duo.

Vereecke was able to stay ahead of Henrik Von Eckermann, who finished fourth with Calizi (by Cellestial). The top five was completed by France thanks to Titouan Schumacher and Carera des Brimbelles (by Kannan).
