In Hubside, the first CSI4* ranking class of the day was jumped just now. It was a 1m50 class with jump-off. Of the 46 participants, twelve managed to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with 12 had to decide the winner.
Kevin Staut was the first to enter the ring. With Bulgarie d'Engandou (by Vargas de Ste Hermelle) he immediately succeeded in jumping a clear jump-off; his time of 39.64 seconds thus became the reference for his competitors. After Staut, several other combinations managed to improve on that time. The victory went to Rene Lopez Lizarzao. He rode Stalognia (by Stakkatol) clear around in 34.31 seconds.
Former number one of the world, Steve Guerdat, followed in second place. He had a clear round behind his name and finished with Pb Maserati (by Emerald) in 34.73 seconds. Jean Luc Mourier and Kielekoo van T&L (by Carabas vd Wateringhoeve) completed the top three after a clear round in 35.15 seconds.
Kendra Claricia Brinkop (Kastelle Memo) and Paul Delforge (Britney du Banney) completed the top five.
