Martin Fuchs makes the Swiss crowd go crazy by winning the Rolex GP of Geneva

CHI Geneva is over! It was looking forward to the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix, in which the world's top riders fight it out for a prize pool of 250,000 euros.

That the course was worthy of the Rolex Grand Slam was clear from the start. The course, built over a height of 1.60m was challenging, technical and demanding in every way. It took a while for the first clear combination to emerge. In the end Darragh Kenny, Martin Fuchs, Kent Farrington, Max Kühner, Laura Kraut and Harrie Smolders managed to qualify for the jump-off.

Also in the jump off it remained exciting until the very last moment, but finally it was public favourite Martin Fuchs who made the home crowd go wild with his victory. With his still young trump card Leone Jei, he jumped to a time of 41.54 seconds and was just over two tenths of a second faster than Harrie Smolders. The Dutchman took the silver with Monaco. Max Kühner and Elektric Blue P finished in 42.22 seconds and finished third.

Darragh Kenny and VDL Cartello took fourth place, Kent Farrington and Gazelle finished fifth before Laura Kraut with Baloutine.
