The 1.50m class of the CSI3* competition in Donaueschingen was won by Niklaus Rutschi with the twelve year old Clearwater by Clearway. He was more than a second faster than Alain Jufer, also from Switzerland, and Fleur Sinaa-A. Andrzej Oplatek completed the top three with Conmina Blue PS. Yves Vanderhasselt and Wilton Porter became fourth and fifth.
In the 1.40m class the German riders Felix Hassmann (SL Brazonado) and Tim Hoster (Carisma can Fly) lead the ranking, before Ellen Whitaker with Diola.
Alia Knack and Claus Peter (by Catoki) jumped to victory in de 1.45m European Youngster Cup. Kimberley Alexandra Gibson followed on the second place, Lara-Marie Juraske ended third with Carracio 2.
