Thank You Quabri de l'Isle

Eric Lamaze and the rest of the show jumping world said goodbye to Olympic horse Fine Lady 5 last weekend. The Canadian retired the mare from competition. That same weekend Pedro Veniss also announced that his top horse Quabri de L'Isle would no longer enter the competition ring.

The striking chestnut stallion has reached the age of 17 and was successful with the Brazilian Veniss at the very highest level. At the Olympic Games last summer, the duo jumped to sixth place in the Nations Cup. In addition, there are also some impressive victories on their record. In 2016 they won the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix in Geneva, where the stallion has now also retired, and the Rolex Grand Prix of Versailles in 2017.
