Aachen has an extensive program ready tonight. First on the program was the Sparkassen-Youngsters-Cup final, a jumping competition where the young horses are measured against each other. After a jump-off between ten combinations, the 8-year-old Selle Français mare, Hello Vittoria (Kannan), ridden by Scott Brash, emerged as the best young talent.

Scott Brash finished at the top of the standings in the saddle of Hello Vittoria with a great time of 40.08 seconds. Nicola Philippaerts also stayed under 41 seconds and scored a silver medal with the also 8-year-old SF mare, Extase Ste Hermelle (Uto Kervec). Bronze went to the German Patrick Stühlmeyer with the 7-year-old Chacco-Blue stallion, Chad Blue Ps.

The rest of the top five also colored German, with Christian Ahlmann and 7-year-old Condor Onze Z (Codex One) in four, followed by Andre Thieme on the back of 8-year-old Paule S (Perigueux).
