What a great Saturday night for Kevin Winkel and Maplewood Inc.'s Osophia, winners of the $15,000 Grand Prix of Flintridge. This beautiful home bred mare with her flaxen mane made it look easy over a challenging course set by Mike Gallaway. Second place went to Amy Hess riding Calesco owned by Blue Tree Farms. She was followed by Usine du Perchet Laura Ware who claimed the third sport on the podium.
On friday it were Erin Duffy and Black Label who amazed everyone as winners of the afternoons $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. While Team Mario Kart were the winners of the Hunt Teams of Three Tandem event. Maisie Sharpiro & Rien, Anna McConnell & Belvoir and Amilia Enzminger & Liberty stayed ahead of the other teams during the themed costumes showjumping class. The comradery made for a fun and entertaining class on Friday evening.
