The 39-year-old show jumping rider earlier competed at the Olympic Games in London (2012) and in 2008, representing Mexico. Also at the World Equestrian Games in 2006 and 2014 Michan was representing Mexico.
The aim of the Israel team is to focus on the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. "We're happy to have Michan in the team," states Hai Pince, the Israel Teammanager.
"Michan is a valued addition to our team. With his talent we're a step closer to our goals for Tokyo 2020."
