Alex Duffy on top for Ireland in Gold MET

Insolite Van 't Molenvondel, a nine-year-old BWP-bred mare by Toulon, just jumped to first place with Alex Duffy in the Gold 1,45m class in Oliva-Valencia. They proved themselves best in 70,47 seconds. Their victory was a very close call, because Russian rider Vladimir Tuganov and Qualidam (Quality Touch Z) finished in 70,48 seconds.

Lauren Hough and Quantas 15 (Quintero) came in third with a time of 73,12 seconds.
