In Fontainebleau it were the Belgian junior jumpingdevils who claimed the European Gold medal this morning. For the winning team both Thibault Philippaerts with Stal Lenssens' 9-year-old Cachas-mare, Cataleya and compatriot Alexander Housen aboard the 12-year-old BWP-gelding, Galoubbet Fravance (Caretino) made a clear finish.
Compatriots, Thibeau Spits with the BWP-approved sire, Jericho Dwerse Hagen (Vertigo Saint-Benoit) and Simon Morssinkhof (Vivolta de Gree, f. Diamant de Semilly) both had to accept at least one fault underway.
Great-Britain's junior team claimed the silver medal while Ireland completed the stage.
