Belgian Thierry Goffinet is powered by the Portuguese sun in 1.45m class Vilamoura
The Portuguese sun has a good influence on Belgian rider Thierry Goffinet. After claiming some prizes in the youngster tours the last day it was a glorious vitory today in the 1.45m Longines Ranking class.  Aboard his 11-year old Zangersheide gelding Artuur Jh Z (Andiamo x Baloubet du Rouet) Goffinet tooka confident win.

The Belgian duo stayed ahead of  French rider Mathieu Billot in just 58.25 seconds. Billot crossed the finish with his 9-year old BWP mare Ilena S (Verdi x Calido I) in 59.22 seconds to claim second prize.   It were two Brazillian riders that came next in third and fourth place.

Felipe Ramos Guinato and Zenzero (Kashmir Van Schuttershof) jumped to the third spot after a clear round in 59.74 seconds. And he was closely followed by countryman Marlon Modolo Zanotelli aboard Sirene de La Motte (Apache d'Adriers).  Zanotelli's wife, the lovely Swedish Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli, completed the top 5 with de Emma (Van de Vivaldi).

Did we already say Goffinet was on to today? Well he really was! Earlier that day he claimed sixt place with the  AES stallion Navarro UK (Darco) and before that he jumped to ta third spot on the podium aboard the BWP stallion Landiamo S (v. Andiamo).
