Brilliant victory for Marc Houtzager in Amsterdam, Michael G Duffy rewarded with Best rider of the Show
At Jumping Amsterdam the weekend full topsport ended with a 1m60 Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix, powered by Stud Sterrehof. With many Irish and British wins in Amsterdam, the Dutch took back their victory and celebrated Dutch style with a total of five Dutch combinations in the jump-off. These five combinations where the only riders to keep it clear in the first round and three of them succeeded in jumping clear in the second round as well.

It was Marc Houtzager who took the victory and showed the young riders in the top five how it's done. With his Sterrehof's Calimero (by Quidam de Revel) he started last in the jump-off and secured the win with a beautiful time of 41.30 seconds. "I had the luck of starting last in the jump-off, so I could follow the other combinations and their moves. Riding in Amsterdam is amazing the public really lives for the riders and will stand up, clap and scream for every rider, it's an amazing feeling", tells Houtzager. In two weeks the combination will try their luck in Hong Kong.

Then in second place it was youngster Michel Hendrix who also stayed clear in with his Baileys (by Indoctro) and finished with a time of 41.81 seconds. Michael Greeve and his Whitney BB (by Nabab de Reve) followed in third place finishing with a time of 42.16 seconds. In fourth place it was Frank Schuttert with his Chainti's Champion (by Champion du Lys) with whom he finished with four penalties, but with the fastest time of 40.14 seconds. The fifth place went to Kevin Jochems and his Captain Cooper (by Namelus R).
