Brits rule the morning in Oliva with Louise Simpson for victory
The day at the MET Tour in Oliva kicked-off with the 6-years-old class and the international three-star 1.30m class. In the gold Tour Great-Britain dominated as Louise Simpson jumped to victory aboard the 8-years-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Jaffar de Bourguignon (Lord Z x Darco). The pair crossed the finish in 57.00 seconds.

Spain's Manuel Pinto and the Zangersheide-bred Narbonne Z (Nabab de Rêve x Carthago Z) followed as runner-up in 57.22 seconds.

Simpson's female compatriot, Alice Watson completed the stage with In the Mood van het Kriekenhof (Winningmood x Lys de Darmen). Watson stopped the clock in 58.68 seconds.

The top five was completed by Kirk Jemma (Carbani) and Switzerland's Pascal Bettschen (Lucandro CH) in a fourth and fifth place.

With the 6-year-old horses it was Ukraine claiming the win. Aboard the KWPN-bred Ping Pong (by Pan Am VDL) Oleg Krasyuk jumped to glory in 29.17 seconds. Over one second faster as Germany's  Heiner Ortmann and Filly Risk (Spartacus x Numero Uno). The pair crossed the finish in 30.55 seconds.

Together wth Lucky Star V (Diabeau x Nabab de Reve) Ortmann also claimed the fourth spot. Ierland's Kenneth Fraham and Newmarket Trooper placed third while the top five was completed by France's Marie Demonte and Bianca de la Roche (by Diamant de Semilly).
