Bruynseels claims amazing victory in Longines Grand Prix Basel
The CSI5* in Swiss Basel just came to an end with the exciting Longines Grand Prix. It was a test over  two rounds that saw the top sixteen combinations return. With not having sixteen clears the final round had a few combinations enter the second round with four penalties  four penalties behind there name. Eight rider kept their horses from dropping a pole in the first round.

In October Bruynseels and eleven year old mare already won  the Grand Prix in Helsinki. . And during todays final round it was Belgian rider once again showed the power of his BWP mare Gancia de Muze (v. Malito de Rêve). The pair produced two flawless rounds. And even pushed the paddle to finish in a record time of 41.19 seconds. Crossing the finish line a second faster than the British John Whitaker the young Belgian took yet another win. Legend Whitaker and the twelve year old mare Ornellaia (v. For Pleasure) clocked a time of 42.16 seconds. Edwina Tops-Alexander was the first to set a double clear in the second round. Together with Lintea Tequila (v. Campbell) she ended up being third fastest rider in 42.18 seconds.

The top five was completed by Olivier Philippaerts with H & M Legend of Love (v. Landzauber) and Martin Fuchs with Clooney. She finished in 42.56 seconds and 44.43 seconds respectively.
