Carambole was bred by Holsteiner breeder, Jens Ritters. Mother is Premie Mare, Normandie VI (Concerto III). In 2021 the stalion won at his 17-years-old - with Greve - the FEI Nations Cup finals in Barcelona.
On Saturday January 28, the stallion will officially retire from the sport with an award ceremony at Jumping Amsterdam.
