It was a clash of the titans in the Grand Prix in Belgium's Sentower Park. It was between both world top riders Eric Lamaze and Harrie Smolders during this two star 1m45 Grand Prix. With a total of 17 combinations in the jump-off the public could enjoy some fantastisch showjumping.

In the end it was Canadian rider Eric Lamaze who will go home with the victory. In the saddle of his Fine Lady Five (by Forsyth Frh) he stayed ahead of Smolders and finished in 39.03 seconds. The flying Dutchmen ended in second place with his Dutch Warmblood Zinius (by Nabab de Reve) with whom he crossed the finish line in 39.23 seconds. For the Netherlands we also find Lisa Nooren on a third place with her Hocus Pocus de Muze (by Tinka's Boy) with whom she crossed the chromo in 40.53 seconds.

Following in fourth place is Irish rider Paul Kennedy and his Cartown Danger Mouse (by Harlequin du Carel). The combination finished in 40.91 seconds, staying ahead of Belgium's Pascale Haep and Iris van de Bisschop with whom he finished in fifth place in 41.21 seconds.
