The last class that was scheduled in Odense, was the 1,45m Grand Prix Qualifier. Riders got the change to qualify themselves for the Grand Prix that will be ridden on Sunday. 71 combinations entered the show ring and eventually it was the Irish rider Shane Carey who crowned himself the winner. He and Contenance 15 (Cornet Obolensky) jumped a clear second phase in 22,62 seconds. The second place was for the Belgian rider Karel Cox. He rode Flinstone Van'T Eigenlo in 23,03 seconds to the finish line. Cox just took over the horse from another Belgian rider, Stefan Corten. Janika Sprunger and Aris Cms (Bmc Nassau). They left the wood untouched in 23,08 seconds.
The Dutch rider Jens van Grunsven ended on fourth place with Cika. They jumped a clear round in 23,38 seconds. Jens Baackmann and Carman 255 (Cornet Obolensky) took account of the fifth place. Jeroen Dubbeldam and Sfn Zenith N.O.P. didn't miss their return in the show ring. They ended just outside the top five by jumping a clear round in 23,65 seconds. This was enough to finish on sixth place.
