CSI Opglabbeek: Reed Kessler keeps Belgian riders from victory
In Opglabbeek (Belgium), the last class of today has just ended. The 'Prijs Frank Reyskens Planten' was a 1,40m class ridden against the clock. This class was also a qualifier for the GP of Sunday. The young American rider Reed Kessler could prevent an all-Belgian top six. She and Soraya L'Obstination (Kashmir van Schuttershof) jumped to victory in a time of 61,3 seconds.

With this time, she managed to keep Olivier Philippaerts from winning. The young Belgian rider ended on second and on third place. He jumped two fast clear rounds with Ikker (Ogano Sitte) and Ustina Sitte (Clinton) but he wasn't fast enough to keep Kessler from winning.

Fourth and fifth place remained in Belgium as well. Maud Pietroniro ended on fourth place with LC Riviere Rouge (Lindberg des Hayettes). Fifth place was for Gudrun Patteet and Sea Coast Ferly (Calato). They crossed the finish line in 62,94 seconds. Sixth place once again was for a Belgian rider. The young Leonie Peeters and her top horse Sunny Girl jumped in 64,05 seconds to sixth place.
