The Turkish show jumping rider and his 9-year-old gelding jumped to victory in 37.46 seconds. Belgium's Nicola Philippaerts followed as runner up with the 8-year-old Quinar Z-son, Quincasco Van 't Koningshof Z. France's Lysa Doerr completed the stage aboard her Bentley du Soleil (Jarnac).
The pair was followed by compatriot Nicolas Bost aboard Bluemuch des Baleines (Chacco Blue). Janne F. Meyer-Zimmermann ended fifth in the saddle of Zita Blue (VDL Zirocco Blue).
