Dutch dominate opening at JIM
At the Jumping Indoor Maastricht, just a couple of km away from the CSI2* Horse-and-Friends Event, the Dutch ruled the first show jumping day of the CSI3*. Set at a height of 1.40m a total of 52 horse-rider combinations took the start for the course. Doron Kuipers and Attention et Z (by Andiamo Z) finished faultless in 22.15 seconds, taking home the win. Compatriots Peter Geerink (Zidane) and Johnny Pals (Charmeur Z) followed in second and third position.

Best non-dutch show jumping pair were Janika Sprunger and the 13-years-old Quintera (by Kannan). The pair finished faultless in 25.80 seconds, returning home with the 8th spot. The top five was completed by Pieter Keunen aboard Mojito (by Kunch de Breve) in fourth and Lisa Nooren (Dienellie) in fifth.

Nooren also finished sixth aboard the 8-years-old VDL Groep Centora de Wallyro (by Dobel's Ocento). For North-America it was Karina Aziz and GC Chopin's Bushi (by Contendro) who finished as best. Keeping the wood untouched and stopping the clock in 28.74 seconds she finished 17th for Canada.
