Dutch reign on own soil in 7-year-old finals in Valkenswaard


The final day of the Valkenswaard jumping tour kicked-off with the finals for the 7-year-old horses. In Jan Tops' backyard the Dutch reigned the stage with Aniek Diks on top.

Diks and the Diarado-mare, Fiarablo jumped to victory in a jump-off with 13 combinations. The KWPN-mare finished clear in 34,75 seconds. Compatriot Patrick Lemmen followed as runner-up aboard Fascinating Fortuna (by Zapatero VDL). The pair crossed the finish in 35.27 seconds.

Belgium's Pieter Devos completed the stage in the saddle of his Numero Uno-son, Flash. The horse is in part ownership of Stal de Leygraaf and finished clear in 36.09 seconds.

Michael Duffy and Au Top Des Luthiers (by Quaprice Boismargot) followed in fourth while Marlon Modolo Zanotelli completed the top five with VDL Firso Smh (by Bugatti VDL).
